Gold wedding bands in Fiji
A wedding band is worn every day for the rest of your life, so it is worth trying a few on. We keep plain and patterned gold wedding bands for men and women at our shop on Main Street, Nadi, in 9ct, 18ct and 22ct, and we'll help you find a pair that suits you both.

Every design is different, chosen by hand, and most are never posted online, so there’s far more in store on Main Street, Nadi than you’ll see here. Seen something on our socials? Message us a screenshot and we’ll tell you if it’s still here.
The wedding band is the simplest ring you will ever buy, and the one you wear the longest. Choosing one comes down to four things: the gold, the width, the finish and the size.
Choosing the gold
Every band we sell is stamped with its purity on the inside:
| Gold | Stamp | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| 9ct | 375 | The hardest-wearing and the most affordable. Good for hands that work hard. |
| 18ct | 750 | A richer colour and still tough enough for every day. |
| 22ct | 916 | The deepest yellow and the traditional choice in many Fiji Indian families. Softer, so it shows wear sooner. |
If you are matching an engagement ring, choose the same colour and carat so the two wear evenly side by side. Our post on yellow, white and rose gold explains the colours.
Width and finish
- Slim bands sit neatly beside an engagement ring and suit smaller hands.
- Wider bands are a popular choice for men and feel more substantial on the finger.
- Plain polished bands are classic and easy to keep looking good.
- Patterned bands have textured or cut detail for something a little different.
Try a few widths on: a band that looks wide in the case often feels just right on the hand.
Getting the size right
Wedding bands should be snug enough not to slip off over the knuckle, but comfortable all day, in Fiji's heat as well as a cold winter overseas. Fingers swell in the heat, so try bands on later in the day if you can.
- Come in and we'll size you both.
- Buying from overseas? Use our printable ring size guide and measure a ring that already fits.
- Fiji, Australia and New Zealand use letter sizes; the USA and Canada use numbers.
We do ring resizing, so if a band needs adjusting after the wedding, bring it in.
Planning around the wedding
If you are coming home to Fiji for the wedding, sort the bands early in your trip, not in the last few days. Our wedding jewellery timeline sets out when to do what, and our bridal page lets you request a viewing for the whole family.
Something more personal
We take custom orders. If you have a design in mind that you can't find in store, show us and we'll tell you what's possible, the cost and how long it takes. See custom jewellery.
FAQ
Good to know
Which gold is best for a wedding band?
For a band worn every day, 18ct (750) or 9ct (375) is harder-wearing and keeps its shape. 22ct (916) has the richest yellow and is the traditional choice, but it is softer and marks more easily.
Should our wedding bands match?
They don't have to. Many couples choose the same gold and finish but a wider band for him and a slimmer one for her. Come in together and try a few side by side.
Will my wedding band sit next to my engagement ring?
Bring the engagement ring with you. We'll check the bands that sit flush against it, so the two rings wear well together.
Can you resize a wedding band?
Yes, we do ring resizing. Most plain and patterned bands can go up or down a size or two.
We're getting married in Fiji but live overseas. Can we sort the bands before we fly?
Yes. Measure your ring sizes at home with our printable size guide, then message us on Viber with the sizes and the style you like, and come in early in your trip to try them on.
