What is CZ?

CZ stands for cubic zirconia, a clear, hard stone made in a laboratory and cut to sparkle like a diamond. It is not a diamond and is not sold as one. It costs far less, which means a bigger, bolder look for the same budget.

Styles in the cases

• Ladies' dress rings: clusters, flowers, halos and open designs edged with small stones. See ladies' gold rings.

Size and fit

Fiji, Australia and New Zealand use letter ring sizes; the USA and Canada use numbers. Come in and we'll size you, or measure a ring that already fits with our printable ring size guide. We do ring resizing, though rings with stones all the way round are harder to change.

Caring for a CZ ring

• CZ is hard, but it can chip if knocked. Take the ring off for heavy work, sport and the gym.
• Clean it with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft toothbrush, then dry it well. Lotion and soap dull the sparkle.
• If a stone ever feels loose, stop wearing the ring and bring it in. We do repairs.
