Jewellery repairs in Nadi

A broken chain or a loose stone doesn't mean the end of a favourite piece. We do jewellery repairs at our shop on Main Street, Nadi: bring the piece in, and we'll look at it and tell you what can be done, the cost and how long it takes before we start.

Every piece is different, so the quickest way to an answer is to show us. Bring it in to Main Street, Nadi, or send a photo on Viber, and we’ll tell you what’s possible before anything is done.

Gold jewellery is made to last for generations, but chains get caught, clasps wear and stones work loose over the years. Most of the time a piece can be put right.

What people bring in

These are some of the things people often bring to us. If yours isn't here, bring it in anyway or send a photo, and we'll tell you whether we can help.

  • Broken chains and links that have pulled apart.
  • Worn or broken clasps on chains, bracelets and mangalsutra.
  • Loose or missing stones in rings, earrings and pendants.
  • Bent earring posts and lost backs.
  • Bangles and kangan that have been knocked out of shape.
  • Pendant loops (bails) that have worn thin.

How it works

  1. Show us the piece. Bring it to the shop, or send a clear photo on Viber to +679 806 4660 first.
  2. We tell you what's possible. We'll look at it and explain what can be done, the cost and how long it takes.
  3. You decide. Nothing is done until you say yes.
  4. Collect it. We'll let you know when it's ready.

Before you bring it in

  • Keep every piece. Put broken links, stones or clasps in a small bag or envelope.
  • Stop wearing it. A loose stone or weak clasp can fail completely, and a lost stone is harder to replace.
  • Visiting from overseas? Bring the piece early in your trip so there is time for the work before you fly.

Looking after your gold

Many repairs are avoidable. Take jewellery off for swimming, the gym and heavy work, put on lotion and perfume first, and store pieces separately so they don't tangle or scratch. Our care guide for 22ct gold has more tips.

Does it need resizing instead?

If a ring is too tight or too loose, see ring resizing. If a piece is beyond repair, our old gold exchange can put its value towards something new.

FAQ

Good to know

How much does a jewellery repair cost?

It depends on the piece and the job. We look at it first and tell you the cost before any work starts.

How long does a repair take?

It depends on the repair. We'll give you a time when we look at the piece, so you can plan around it, especially if you're only in Fiji for a short trip.

Can you repair a piece I didn't buy from you?

Bring it in or send us a photo on Viber, and we'll tell you whether we can help.

My chain broke. Should I keep wearing it?

No. Take it off and keep all the pieces, including any loose links or the clasp, in a small bag. Bring them all in.
